BEYOND X BENEATH: ABSTRACT IDEAS

(ideias abstratas)

Exemplos:

1. Beyond any doubt, he’s guilty of the attacks.

2. Working at the sanitation department is beneath my dignity.

OVER X UNDER:  MOVING OBJECTS

 (coisas que se movem , não estáticas)

Exemplos:

1. The plane flew over Rio.

2. The cockroach is under the table.

ABOVE x  BELOW – STATIONARY THINGS

 (coisas imóveis/ estáticas)

Exemplos:

1. The movie star lives in the apartment below ours.

2. The sky is above
